1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, creating an account, or placing an order with Bakers Route ("we", "us", "our"), you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Products & Ordering

All our products are freshly baked and subject to availability. We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate; however, we reserve the right to correct any errors at any time.

• Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Actual products may vary slightly in appearance.
• Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to limit quantities per order at our discretion.
• All orders are confirmed only after you receive a WhatsApp acknowledgement from our team.
• Seasonal or limited items may be removed from our menu without prior notice.

3. Pricing & Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

• UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM)
• Credit / Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
• Net Banking
• Cash on Delivery (available for select areas and order values)

Payment is required before dispatch unless Cash on Delivery is agreed upon at the time of order. In case of failed or declined payments, your order will be held until payment is successfully received.

Prices displayed are subject to change without notice. The price at the time of order confirmation will apply to your order.

4. Custom Cake Orders

Custom cakes require advance notice of at least 48 hours (3–5 days recommended for elaborate designs). By placing a custom order, you agree to the following:

• A 50% advance payment is required to confirm the order. The balance is due before dispatch.
• Design references (photos, themes, colours) must be shared at the time of order. We will use reasonable artistic licence where exact replication is not possible.
• Once the cake is in production, changes to design, size, or flavour cannot be guaranteed.
• Custom orders are non-cancellable once the advance is paid and production has commenced.
• Bakers Route is not responsible for design similarities with third-party intellectual property — it is the customer's responsibility to ensure the requested design does not infringe copyright.

5. Cancellations

Cancellation requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis due to the perishable nature of our products:

• More than 24 hours before delivery: Full refund or store credit, subject to production status.
• 12–24 hours before delivery: 50% refund; the remainder is retained as a preparation charge.
• Less than 12 hours before delivery: No refund, as the product is already prepared.
• Custom cakes: Non-refundable once production has started, regardless of notice period.

To request a cancellation, contact us immediately via WhatsApp or phone. Cancellations are not accepted after delivery has commenced.

6. Delivery

Delivery is subject to our Delivery Policy. Key points:

• Delivery timeslots are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or operational factors.
• Someone must be available at the delivery address to receive the order. If no one is available, we will attempt to contact you. Unclaimed orders will not be eligible for a refund.
• Bakers Route is not liable for damage caused after successful handover to the customer or delivery partner.

7. Rewards Programme

Our loyalty rewards programme is offered at our discretion and subject to change at any time. Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the programme without prior notice. Abuse or fraudulent activity will result in forfeiture of all points and account termination.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including logos, images, text, product descriptions, and design — is the property of Bakers Route and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bakers Route shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

• Delays in delivery caused by unforeseen circumstances.
• Allergic reactions — customers are responsible for checking ingredients and notifying us of allergens at the time of ordering.
• Product appearance differing from illustrations shown.
• Loss of data stored in your browser's local storage.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in our city of operation.
